Paul Berry, CFA
My career began in financial markets, working as a derivatives trader for a global banking group, managing large risk positions in a complex environment. Decision-making under pressure was a critical ingredient for success in that field, explaining my continued interest in decision-making.
I now help leaders and teams to resist the seductive temptation to think reductively. Organisational systems and human relationships are complex. Becoming better at thinking about complexity allows us to improve our decision-making and become more skilled at understanding ourselves and our relationships.
My interest in decision-making and developing expertise have led me to publish several academic papers. I share the links below.
I am a Chartered Financial Analyst, with Masters degrees in Coaching and Mentoring practice (Oxford Brookes University), Performance Psychology (Edinburgh University) and Investment Analysis (Stirling University).
Outside of work I am a keen improvised theatre performer and golfer.
Excellence, integrity and critical thinking are the values underpinning my work.
